The first rule of the London Underground is that you don’t talk on the London Underground. The second rule of the London Underground is that you don’t talk on the London Underground.

So you can imagine the fuss when I disturbed the sanctity of the Victoria Line with a particularly loud ‘Goodness gracious me’ upon seeing this poster in a newspaper. In my defence, it’s not every day you see your friend’s work published a million (well a few hundred) miles away from home.
