Femke Agema specializes in confounding expectations. Like you meet her, you think you get on well, you get to the point where it’s possible to say that you’ve become good friends. Then out of the blue she’ll say you’ve got a fucked up face. And somehow you’ll still be friends.
 

It’s the same way with her work. At least I think it is. All I know is that she makes clothes that everyone says are unusual and inventive and beautiful. I just think they’re fucked up.
